Derham Insights Research undertakes business-to-consumer and business-to-business marketing research, and employee research.

In the course of our research, we have explored the motives and needs of Australians ranging from the richest and most powerful to small investors, from city “sophisticates” to regional dwellers, shoppers, small business people and to those who describe themselves as “just mums”.

The Melbourne-based company conducts research throughout Australia, New Zealand, the UK and the USA.

The company principal, Philip Derham, is an experienced moderator and quantitative researcher.

Philip’s experience developed in roles with major media, market research, and government bodies, including the Australian Bureau of Statistics, The Herald & Weekly Times, and Roy Morgan Research.

He is a Member of the (Australian) Research Society, a Professional Member of the Australian Marketing Institute. His qualifications include BA. (Mon.), Grad. Dip. Mktg. (CIT), Dip. M.R. (MRSA), and he has been a Qualified Professional Researcher since 2002.

Philip is an experienced presenter and speaker about market research and how its disciplines and tools can find business-building insights to customers’ and prospective customers’ motivations and needs.
